Originally a boys only camp, the site was purchased in 1945.

Situated to the right of Burleigh Hill in this photograph, Camp Burleigh is a short work to Burleigh Heads beach.

Camp Burleigh is nestled amongst tropical rainforest in Burleigh Head National park.

 

 

Camp Burleigh is located 89km south of Brisbane, midway between Cooloongatta and Surfers Paradise on Queensland's beautiful Gold Coast.

Nestled in the Burleigh Heads National Park, Camp Burleigh enjoys a world renowned surf beach, walking tracks around the NP and along the beachfront with amazing coastal views, a variety of shops and easy access to theme parks and other Gold Coast attractions.

Camp Burleigh boasts a fully catered kitchen, large dining room, intimate chapel, basketball half court and multi purpose function/recreation room. Accommodation allows for 120 people, with some cabins fully ensuited.

Our campsite provides the following:

Dormitory-style cabins with mainly bunks and some beds. Campers are required to supply a pillow and all linen.

• Cabins 1-6 have eight bunk beds each, with a common toilet and shower block
• Cabins 7-8 have eight bunk beds each, with an ensuite
• Cabin 9 has two single beds and an ensuite Cabin 9A has a double bed and ensuite
• Cabin 10 has ten bunk beds with a common toilet and shower block
• Cabin 11-12 have eight bunk beds each, with a common toilet and shower block Cabin 13 has nine bunk beds with a common toilet and shower block
• Cabin 14-16 have nine bunk beds each, with ensuites
